97 5 speed manual transmission
I have a 5 speed manual from a 97 DI available to those interested. 115k on it and it is being replaced with a reman. I have lost second gear and everyone in my small town is scared of the LR brand so have quoted me ridiculous prices to open it up. So ridiculous, it is cheaper to buy a reman. I love my DI enough that I am dumping the cash into her to keep her going.
It is currently running and will be for the next 3 weeks as all other gears work fine. Freight shipping will probably be priced from $150-$200 I am assuming as that is how much I am paying for the reman shipping. It will come in the box that my reman is coming in.
As far as what I am asking? Throw a number out there and I'll entertain it based off of offers I get. Just let me know if your offer includes the shipping cost or not. I do not have it listed locally as there is only one other DI in my town and it is an auto.

I am located in Rapid City, SD. So shipping would change depending on your location. I was quoting what it could cost me frmo the east coast. If you were within 300 miles I would be willing to drive it to you if you had a way to unload it.

Last chance to swipe a 5 speed R380 for CHEAP! Based off of what I paid for my new one to be shipped your freight cost will be $125-$150. I just hate to see this go to the junkyard and never see the road again! I will entertain ANY offer!

I am interested in your transmission. I have a '96 Disco 5-speed with the usual noisy input and worn synchros. Perhaps your could be repaired as a replacement. I'm near Kansas City,so I expect it would need to be shipped. What do you want for it?
Thanks,
John

Honestly I wouldn't know what to ask for it as it is in need of repair so throw a number at me on top of the 125 for freight. It will shift from 1st to 2nd but won't shift down from any gear into 2nd. I am having mine pulled on April 5th so I would need to know by then. Unless you could meet halfway it would have to be shipped. But I imagine driving it in my car would cost just as much to ship :-)
