Clean, rust-free 1997 Land Rover Discovery Series I. This is an SE7 model, seven-seater. 4.0L GEMS. Headgaskets done at 112K by AUTOSOLUTIONS in Belmont, CA. 131K original miles.
Runs very well, with no noises, leaks or mechanical issues. NO check engine lights on. Antilock light has been on for 2 yrs. Temperature always steady at 1/4. Transmission shifts well into all gears, and transfer cases work fine for snow or off-road duty. This DI has the desirable Central Differential Lock.

Original Alpine white finish, with NO rust, no dents and not oxidation. One small ding on the hood. No cracks on the windshield. Clean tan leather interior has held up well despite the passing of time. No rips on the seats, not wear spots on the carpeting and no splits on seams. NON SMOKER DI.

Clean CA title ( in MY name), currently registered through 2017, and most importantly, SMOG CERTIFIED less than 30 days ago, and it passed with NO issues. Turn-key, and runs and drives well.

Regretably, I lost my storage space in Foster city and must part with the majority of my LRs ( I cannot turn the front of my house into a parking lot), thus deciding to sell this DI along with my 03' DII and a SWB.
I've been a Land Rover enthusiast for over 35 years. Like most of you, I am a LR guy but sensible alternatives are not within sight at the moment, and I cannot justify $250 per car per month just to store them. And I have decided on focusing my efforts in finishing my 00' TreK.
