Please post some photos of the one you build for Suzukisam. I will almost definitely be ordering one like it for a D1. My rover is mostly a road warrior for the family.

Also Fisheh there is no need to PM me and warn me about Roberts bumpers like you have others on this thread. I am a big boy and can make my own decisions. I bought my disco without you didn't I?

I'm assuming you're talking to me.
Just to clear things up.
- I PM'd you out of respect for Robert and his thread.
- My advice to check welds is something I would advise anybody and was specifically mentioned do to some of what I've seen in the pics posted here. Granted, the pics are "works in progress" and I'm sure everything would have been buttoned up on the finished item.
- I was trying to be nice and let you know about a super clean bumper that met your needs, the D2 TerraFirma. I'm extremely sorry that you took offense to that.
- I don't care how many bumpers you order or from whom you order them. What kind of fleet are you armoring with 3 bumpers, anyways????

Cheers!

LOL. Its not quite done. Will have a winch mounted up there. Weighed in at 3190 here so with the full size spare and tools/spare parts it should be race ready around 4000 lbs. With the built SC GM 3.8L and current set up it should do 90+ in low range. One bad ****...with about 60-70k tied up in it.

Just to clear things up for anyone who does not know. I DID NOT GO TO HARBOR FREIGHT LAST WEEK AND BUY A WELDER!!!!!!! I work in the biofuel industry. Be for this i was in coal fired power plant maintenance. Metal is in my blood! I know how to weld, i have been doing it for years and years. I would be more than happy to send anyone here some scrap metal that i welded together for you to take and do a strength test to. Or if you really want to get carried away we could have it x-rayed then you could see any imperfections.

I hope everyone has a great weekend and dont get those knuckles to bloody on our beloved land rovers!! haha

This is only direct response I will give you, because I'm not going to hijack this awesomely amazing thread written by such a hard working accommodating individual. your edicate has come off as condescending and presumptuous. if your trying to help stop being so critical. I am very educated in fabrication and design. I know all I need to about his work by the photos posted. I'm replacing cracked plastic with metal, that is a self explanatory statement! I have searched for what I want, and this is the first option I have had to own it. this gentleman's offering has clearly bothered you. I'm sorry, but it appeals to many of us. thanks for your
suggestion and I did check it out. It was nice bumper..

I PM'd you. YOU replied in the thread. Just so everyone is clear on that. I said what I felt what warranted about what I saw and I have and will say no more.
Good luck to all involved.
