Improved Power & Fuel Consumption
I've just sold my Discovery 4 (2011 plate) and 6 weeks before I did so I had a new external chip fitted to improve the fuel efficiency and also get rid of the turbo lag.
The dealer I sold it to didn't want the chip so I am now looking to sell this and thought it prudent to offer it on this forum since it is already programmed for this particular model.
I paid £350 but am willing to accept £250, it's in mint condition and still under warranty, and simply needs to be plugged in to work. If needs be it can also be reprogrammed for different models, however before doing so I would need to check this is possible for a particular vehicle so would ask that you contact me if that's of interest. There may also be a small reprogramming cost (I would need to get the supplier to do that for me) and am happy to find out for any potential buyers.
I've owned 3 Discos and had these fitted to the last 2 and can confirm that the improvement in power and effect on the turbo lag is superb, plus it increased fuel efficiency by around 10-15% (depending on how you drive).
