I have a 2.25 petrol engine from a customers 1969 Series iiA that I removed in favor of a 200tdi. The engine runs great and had plenty of get up and go. The engine has somewhere around 100k miles according to the owner. It has some standard oil leaks, but nothing catastrophic. I would just throw seals at it to save on oil spots. The motor was equipped with a gm carb conversion and an electronic fuel pump.....all in all the motor is certainly worth the price for those looking for a spare. I'm in Lakeland,FL
