Smile Safari Roof Rack for Discovery I- perfect condition- $1200

Hi there!

I am selling my Safari Roof Rack made to fit a Discovery I. This rack is in perfect condition- no wear or rust. I never used it for off- roading... Just simply liked the way my rover looked with it on. I am selling because I bought a 2003 discovery II and it will not fit onnthat model.

Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick up method. Was told by British Atlantic that these racks were discontinued. I'm sad to say bye to it because it really does soup up your rover!

Thanks!

Yep - but someone will likely pay that for it.

I can buy a universal rack and make brackets for 400 bucks or less. Same function. 800 bucks left for beer.

I did my research through British Atlantic and multiple Rover dealerships and was told every single time that $1200 is what it is worth. Sure, you can buy a universal rack.... But some people like Land Rover manufactured parts, which this is. And asi said before, it's in incredible shape.

You mean they said that's what they would ask for it?
They typically sell on Craigslist for $600 and max out with lights installed for $900.

I meant no offence, I assure you. I don't want to start anything. Good luck with the sell

Just something to think about, but are you certain this won't fit your D2? It would be a little short, but I know that it should otherwise be the correct width.

That is what all those different places told me the value was and what it will sell for. The only racks I have seen on craigslist for that price are racks in terrible shape or non Land Rover manufactured racks. In addition, in the past, I have had Rover enthusiasts off the street offer me that amount... Just was not looking to sell at that point. Although, I am a bit negotiable, $1200 is what I'm asking for.
