Approximately 94,300 miles.

Purchased approximately 1 year ago to use as a daily driver during the winter. Have less than 5k miles on the vehicle in my ownership. Recently bought a bike and a new car, so this needs to go.

The Exterior:

When purchased a year ago, the paint was slightly faded on the roof and the hood, so we repainted those two items and blended the color to match. The exterior had a few door dings, so those were removed via paintless dent removal. There were a few small ones that could not be gotten, but they are hardly noticable. There is no body damage anywhere, and to my knowledge it has never been in a wreck (and the vehicle has been looked over extensively). New rover decal was applied to the hood after paint.

The Interior:

The interior of the rover is in very good condition for the mileage that is on the vehicle. It is not perfect, the vehicle does have 90k miles on it, but I would say it is well above average for it's age. The leather is in good shape with no rips or tears. The carpet is also in good shape as well. All electrics work to my knowledge (power seats, radio, gauges, etc). There are fold down jump seats in the rear which the kids love riding in.
Mechanical:

Items that were replaced when the vehicle was bought a year ago:

New Power Steering box (rover's version of a power steering rack)
Front Ball Joints
Valve Cover Gaskets on both sides
Oil Pan Gasket
All new window seals
Rear Hatch Seal
Tires (Bridgestone) were virutally new when it was purchased, and so they have a few thousand miles on them. Good tread life left and even wear.
Steering Yolk
All tie rod ends
Intake Seals
Power steering lines
Door Seals
Thermostat
Sunroof guides

The vehicle is in great running condition. Only reason it is being sold, is due to a new motorcycle and car, and just having too many vehicles around that don't get driven (1999 Yamaha R1 for sale as well). Engine has great power, and the transmission and 4 wheel drive operate smoothly. Exhaust is in good shape. Everything in the interior works as far as I know with the exception of the CD changer. All glass is in good shape as well, with new seals as mentioned above. Car drives great, and there are no known issues that I am aware of.

Car is fully loaded, Front and Rear AC, front and Rear Sunroofs, dash controls for the radio, alarm, power everything, rear step, jump seats, and more.

Yes, the 1997 discovery is still for sale, I also have a series II, would never get rid of all of them! The 1997 series I is honestly in remarkable condition. Can't wait to start my first build up on the series II
