For Sale -2004 G4 Discovery SE
Selling our 2004 G4 Discovery II -Tangiers Orange. We purchased this two years ago for a special project. The project is completed and we no longer need this G4 and would rather someone else enjoy it . It's a fun truck - a terrific ride. Is in clean running condition ( excellent ride ! ) with some minor nicks and scratches to the Tangiers Orange and normal wear and tear for this vintage G4.
Recently had Serpentine belt replaced, along with a a full service. Recently put in ( all OEM) new brakes, tires, shocks, Three Amigos Replacement work completed, 60,000 mi. service done already.
Actual mileage is around 51,750 ( but is still being driven.)

The G4 has a differential lock for best off-road performance
Recently had four new tires ( OEM - Michelin Latitutde,) new brakes, new shocks installed, as well as an early 60,000 mile MAJOR service ( time as opposed to mileage.) Three Amigos said Adios. Service work was done by Land Rover certified Techs.
Overall this truck has low mileage, is clean and in running condition and is an excellent drive. Not really driven off-road - just country roads.

Known Cosmetic Flaws:
At some point in time it will need new headliner as it is beginning to release around edges/areas of passenger side rear door.
A minor rear bumper impact from Parking– resulted in crack in rear bumper and cracked light guard.
Minor scratching in paint due to normal wear and tear. Scratch(s) on drivers and passenger side front bumpers ( $250.00 to replace both in Tangiers Orange or $430.00 to replace both with rubberized black bumpers - which might look better!)
Front Cawl crack, Replacement cawl included.
G4 Passenger side Blue Runner Decal beginning to fade - Replacement Blue Stripe Decals included.

Didn't this just sell on ebay? Why not re-list?
Also, what was the special project you used it for? How much is the average service for a Disco of this year? Have you ever taken the truck off road?
Could you send me some pictures of the damages to the Disco?

Indeed, it did sell on eBay but the guy lost his job and was unable to secure financing = no real sale.
Special project use was simply that of using it - for about 10% of time over 1.5 yr. while designing a Sonoma ranch - = no heavy real off-roading - just a lot of spring mud, cow pastures and wine vineyards -
The average "regular" minor service is just that - less than $200. HOWEVER, the 60,000 mi service is a whole other MAJOR story!
