selling the spare D1
I have a spare 98 D1 - Oxford Blue with the following benefits. $300.00 just to keep another D1 from the crusher since this body is in such good shape.
Front and rear a/c blowing cold
engine idles perfect and does not overheat - just will not run smooth above 1000-1200 rpm. permanent limp mode?
Transmission was working fine when I was able to drive normally last time.
body in fair to good condition. rust starting at rear door pillars, just not in full rot mode yet.
All windows are perfect and the seals have minimal cracks in most - front is great shape.
transfer case is free and locks in and out in both ranges.
The following has been removed.
dash top (pod) - but a cracked spare is in vehicle
burrell wood - replacement in vehicle from my other D1
Sunroof ECU and one motor removed
I wish to remove the MFU to replace mine but have not yet.
I wish to exchange torsion bars in the rear due to mine being bent but have not yet.
I would rather keep the Defender style wheels for winter spares if a person wanted this to dismantle for the parts. I would consider this in my asking price. It also would complicate the transportation.
Anyone have a trailer for transport? and the need for anything off this?
Any questions - let me know. I may be slow to respond as I am going back to work for a while (the reason for the failed project)

Just read that price must be included..
My desire is to help out another rover lover that can use the spare, and to get this out from in front of the house.. I am only wanting to get 200 or 300 (wheels or not) for this running rover. The crusher will give me 400 for the body and 100 for the wheels but I do not want to see another D1 go to waste - they are getting rare ya know..
please don't let another one get crushed..
Anyone need the engine? A/C compressor? Tranny or transfer case? Circuit boards? Starter? Alternator? Lights or Lenses? Windows?
