2.25 diesel or 2.5 n/a diesel
I'm looking for a diesel for a 73 Series iii 109 and a 69 iia restoration projects. Condition isn't a huge deal, as it will be rebuilt anyways. Either a 2 1/4 or 2.5 na...no tdi's. I'm also, interested in possible leads on where I can find one.
reply with details either here or I prefer you email me at josh@roverrescueshop.com |
I have a 2.25 diesel I'll trade you for a 200tdi if you come across one of those instead.

Hey, he doesn't want a 200Tdi, worth a shot. :p |
Don't get me wrong, I would love a 200tdi......unfortunately the prices we pay here in the states are absurd. I can build , and have built before, an OM617 powered Rover for far less money and have a much more reliable motor that will run on anything. I was going to go that route again with these, but think the 2.5na is more fitting in the ExMOD 109

2000 landrover disco 2 swapping to a diesel engine.
Hello guys.
This project I am involved with I have already started it. I am installing a diesel engine from an ISUZU Npr year 2000 a (4.8L 4he1tc) to my discovery 2. I am using the automatic trans that comes with the discovery 2. THe input shaft attached to the oil pump from my discovery 2 trans does not fit into the converter that comes with the diesel engine. In this case can I use the torque converter used with the landrover bosch engine? Thank you |
