I have a transmission pan from a DII (they are the same) if you're interested. Do you have a driveshaft? If not, I have one of those as well. When you say selector shaft do you mean the transmission shift cable that runs from the shift assembly to the XYZ switch? I don't have that, alone but I do have the shift assembly (FTC4480 which was superceded by FTC5392) which includes the cable. Finally, while I don't have the XYZ switch on hand, I can get a good used one for you. Let me know if I can be of any help.
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Paul,
What I ment by selector shaft is the shaft that goes into the transmission...after removing the pan should be a roll pin you punch out and shaft should slide out...when the driveshaft let go it took out the xyz switch and bent the shaft....I have a driveshaft but still need the shaft, xyz switch and pan.

Thanks
Jeff

OK, you're taiking about THE000010L. It appears to be different that the one used on DII's so I'm afraid I can't help you with that. I'm not going to tear into a recently rebuilt 4HP24 P38 transmission for that selector shaft. You can buy it from Rovers North. They have it on their website for $83 with delivery typically in about 10 days.

As I mentioned, the transmission I have was rebuilt. At some point, the XZY switch was replaced. The replacement is the same as the one used on your truck, STC4452. Pictures are below so you can compare what I have with what you have. The early style XYZ switch had a breather nipple and hose which are nowhere on the XYZ switch you and I have.

So I can provide both the transmission oil pan and the XYZ switch but, unfortunately, I don't have the selector shaft. I'll PM you the cost of the two items I do have. If I can be of further help let me know.
Cheers,
Paul

Thanks for the reply Paul

Yes that is the part number for the shaft...I didn't know that it was available seperatly...I was hoping someone had a bad transmission laying around that they could pull the shaft from...I'll get back with you on the other parts

Thanks
Jeff

The shift selector for all the ZF 4HP22's' that I have here in bad DII transmissions is part # THE000020. If you want to see if one of these will work I can send you one along with the other parts. I'd have to remove a transmission oil pan anyway. Eyeballing it from the outside, the selectors look the same. The first photo is of the 4HP24 I have and the second is one of several 4HP22's I have on bad DII transmissions.
