Question Installing Seies II Air Filter/Battery Tray

Greetings everyone,

I have been slowly restoring an old Ex-Aussie Amy Series 2 and I have replaced the Holden 202 engine she had in her when I got her and back to a newly build 2.25l Landy engine, so I don't know what some things would have looked like back in the 'olden days'. I have purchased/rescued the battery and air filter tray and I have tracked down an oil bath air filter and now getting ready to install it all, however I can't work out how the battery/airfilter tray attaches to the chassis. The car is right hand drive, so the right hand chassis rail has the steering components on it and I can't work out where or how the tray attaches to the vehicle. Any clues or hints would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Paul

Oh, I hope you get an answer. Mine was LHD, so I see how the steering column would affect how the air filter/battery tray would fit. Sorry I can’t help. You’ll have an awesome vehicle when you’re done.

I did thank you. I need to get the MIG Welder out and build a metal frame/base for the battery to sit on and then attach the tray I have to ot. I will post some pictures when I have completed it.
