Leak parked nose uphill
Never had a leak with this thing, but I parked it uphill last night and had a puddle of some kind of oily liquid under it this morning, about this size a a dang frisbee... Any ideas of what it could be?
Color and/or aroma of what leaked? Big box approx 6'x15', can you narrow down location? Do you still have the underbelly panel installed beneath the engine? Any recent fluid changes or top-offs?
......
......
I cleaned off the underside of the engine hoping to get a clear shot of where it's coming from but no luck. It kind of had the appearance of power steering or brake fluid. The underbelly panel is still there, going to remove it and give it a better cleaning
Check seals on master cylinder. You'll normally see the puddle directly underneath the master cylinder, down the inside of the fender, on a lower suspension arm, then the ground.
Clues it's leaking:
Bubbled up paint on brake booster
Low Brake Fluid Level
Puddle on the ground
Paint missing from inner fender well area

First pic is looking up at the engine from drivers side, looks like a head gasket
Second pic is a pic of water dripping, you can see one drop on the bolt and another coming from right above it, looks like some kind of drain tube??
Third is a pic of what looks like a hole where the tranny butts up to the engine, that can't be good!
Fourth is just a general pic of the underside of the engine.
anyone got any ideas?

I honestly don't remember now, it hasn't leaked since. The second pic I posted is definitely just plain ole water so nothing to worry about. I guess the AC is just working hard since it's almost 90 degrees here.
You think that hole in the tranny is normal? It isn't leaking or anything I just have never noticed it before.

Yeah it looks like it had leaked at one time (paint missing from master cylinder), but looks good now. Coolant level ok? Oil level ok? Maybe it was just just the AC drain water that ran down the side of the transmission and left some residue on the ground.
