Default Wheeel alignment or new rear bushings

2007 LR3 172,000 miles no history before 107,000 when I purchased it. Maintnained per the LR sevice manual every 7,500 mile or less depending on item or time between service

While rotating the tires during the lat oil change, the inner treads were bad enoughto make me want to make an appointment for new tires. Question is, is wear on the inner tread on the rear tires fixable with just an alignment or should I plan on an new tires and an alignment OR new new tires, new control arms/bushings AND an alignment?

After 15,000 miles

Check first if bushings/control arms are bad, tie rods, etc. FIRST. If OK then plan on new tires and an alignment.

Judging by the tires, those are illegal to drive on, at least in every state I am familiar with...

These things like to be aligned twice a year with normal duty (few off road trips a year).

Default Tire tread

Yes , that tire is neatly tucked up in the spare tire spot. (Spare is full size and a new tire last year) I am buying a new tire on Friday and was trying to plan next move. I will closer at the control arm bushings, read the book and make a choice as to whether it is a DIY project or not. Then an alignment.

Default Update

Well I dropped off the worn tire at Discount Tire and will pick it up tomorrow. Got it aligned (I put the car in close tolerance before I left with them) All is good now. Rear wheels had over -3 degree toe out, so that explains that I hope. So it seems I have delayed new rear control arm bushing for.a later project.
