Haha! Very glad we have a Land Rover not so with 1 snow day a year. Going back to regular size and probably 255/55-18 KO2 this year. Cheers

You'll be lucky anyone has power if you get all of that snow! This was us five years ago last week. We were without power for four days - had to get creative I think we went out once with the Rover the first day so my sister could get coffee at Burger King (she lives down the road and was having a breakdown). I've learned that coffee is very, very important! We were fine but poor sis wasn't dealing with it so well. Best to be prepared and know what you'll need to live like a pioneer woman (or man.. )

Read plenty of magazines (if you have em?...), get some batteries in the house for whatever electronic devices you need to power up, cook up some bacon and popcorn and relax

It's helpful if you have a fireplace.. if not, maybe invest in a generator

How did I get here?...

Wow! Got all of those except the fire place.
Well see tomorrow. We got plenty of bacon and I just refilled my cholesterol pills.
Great pictures by the way!

Good luck, thank you and be safe!

Pretty cold out here too, I had to use my sweatshirt this morning.

But in all seriousness we do get snow out here, last weekend we had to rent a room for the night because it was near whiteout conditions up in the mountains and all the city people kept crashing adding hours to the drive home so we gave up on trying to leave Tahoe. This sedan was stuck on the small slope of the parking lot. I was going to pull them but they didn't have chains so it wouldn't have made a difference. My phone saw through the snow better for some reason because in person only the headlights were visible and a little bit of the trees.

Great photos KD. I have a Petter 4.5 kVa diesel genset here if you want to borrow it but I'm afraid it'll be all over by the time you get home with it.

I cannot believe it's snowing so bad at this time of year in the US, it's incredible. We are basking here in France yesterday and today at 18-20C with a low of around 10C at night so hard to imagine your dilemma in the US.

Take care and no heroics you guys as cold is cold when you break down in deep snow.

Be careful not to tear anything off the front bump, Tricky Dick lost some bits when I was plowing through the snow.
