Default Just Got a Westminister

Drove 5am yesterday morning to Connecticut and got this 2004 Discovery. I thought getting a parts truck for 1800. Its a 1st owner disco and the owner mentioned that it runs and the picture posted was not great. I even thought they replaced the wheels from a SAAB. So, had the ultraguage with me and checked if there were pending codes but none. Temp was 195 all the way back and no problem with NY traffic. Went under the truck to check rust especially the rear but she got very minimal surface rusting. Got to go work so I paid and left. Driving back to NJ, the truck was quiet and runs very smooth no vibration up to 90. Has a lot of power left in her, no ticks and leaks yet. It has a 2 service campaign stickers in 2005 and 2006. I guess the issues were resolved then.
Upon arriving home I went around it and removed the original tire cover in the rear and found an embossed clear sticker which says "Westminister". I also found out that the sound system is Harman Kardon. I didnt check the sound while driving coz I tried to listen if any unusual sound with the engine or suspension. Overall paint was original and smooth.

Congrats on the Westminster, I got mine for $1500 but the whole front end was busted. I replaced the headlights, grille, bumper and fog lights and it has been my DD ever since

Thos rims with an aggressive M/T or Goodyear Duratrac look really nice. Just like the earlier Westminster 02 Comet wheels look good with a larger aggressive tire.

Anyone have a nice 3 spoke Westminster set I really would be interested
