Default Adding oil pressure and temp guage

I know a lot of folks use a scan gauge or wireless dongle. But, has anyone added oil and temp gauges to either the A-pillar or any other place on the dash.

Show us pics of your gauges and tell us about you did the install?

I have an oil pressure gauge install vid on Disco 2 on my youTube below if it helps. I wasn't overly selective on the location in case I want to remove it prior to sale.

Cheers.

If you do a search for oil or temp pressure gauges and Discovery II you will find lots

Here is a good how to on installing an oil pressure gauge :

Oil gauge - LAND ROVER CLUB V.I.

You can also use a pancake adapter above the oil filter

As to gauges I have mostly seen pods on the A pillar

I nixed the flimsy cup holders and mounted mine there with a simple 3 gauge bracket. Even put green bulbs in to match the rest of the dash. They're inset pretty far back so you don't hit your knuckles on it when shifting in or out of low range; this means I have to lean back a little to read them, but I'm short so no biggie for me..

That looks like a good set up.

I’m a fan of this setup. I found it here on the forum somewhere, but I’m not sure who it is.

Here’s a link to the gauges used in the photo.

Automobile Multimeter for EGT, Boost, Amber [SYL-1813A] - $53.00 : auberins.com, Temperature control solutions for home and industry

I plan to do similar with mine using a sandwich plate. I’m not sure what other gauges I’ll decide to run, if any, as I have an Ultragauge also.

Clannad??!?!? Someone needs to learn to turn their display off before they take incriminating photos.

+2 for the Auber Instruments. Fast shipping and good customer service. Been running mine for about 3 years without issue. Was about $275 I think for my setup - Coolant, Oil Press, and Voltage.

I am currently putting in both those gauges. Mounting on the dash between the A-pillar and instrument cluster using two mounting cups stacked on top of each other. VDO Vision series gauges
