Pcv/ oil separator

Default Pcv/ oil separator

Is the pcv same as the oil separator ? Located on the passenger side valve cover rear ?

Yes. It has a plastic separator inside the metal tube that can get plugged

Ok I took mine out today and cleaned it as I was seing some oil in my air filter

I'd honestly remove the plastic piece in the valve cover and install an FV308 PCV in the intake vs the plastic black 1/4 thread nipple and call it a day.

I did this other day, my plastic piece was just gross, clogged up and in pieces. One less plastic part to fail.

I went ahead and removed my Fram FV178 PCV and installed the Fram FV308 like Best4x4 stated.
It is really easy to do.
