Default WHATS THE BEST ENGINE FOR A 90
Hi I want infomation on whats the best engine to get for a 90 the does a little off road and a lot of onroad Feedback would be grate thanks

200 Tdi every time... 70 to 80 mph cruising and up to 36 mpg... Hah! Beat that with yer V8 rubbish

You could always fit the M52 straight 6 BMW engine that comes in the BMW 328i.
While Land Rover was owned by BMW the Defender 90 & 110's were fitted with the 2.8i M52 motors here in South Africa, the vehicle is known here as the Defender 2.8i andhere are some specs: 141kw and 280Nm torgue
