I need to replace some ujoints but the budget is a factor....
What is the best bang for the buck.

I like the Tom Woods "Gold Seals"... if for no other reason than they but the zerks on the caps as opposed to the cross member = stronger

Neapco from Advanced, about $12 last time I looked.
Look in the how to section for the drive shaft rebuild post, all the relevant info and part numbers are there.

I'd agree w/Bundu, find the part number and get them from Advanced. they also have the centering ball kit. I think it was about $75 for the 3 u-joints and centering ball when I replaced mine last fall. The neapco also have the zerks in the caps, not the cross member, just as RjBu stated.

^ What they all said. Plus you can go to advanced auto online and check whether they have the parts in stock or not at your local store. So you could basically get all the parts in 1 day if you're willing to drive to 2 different advanced stores. This opposed to ordering online.

Make sure to buy U.S.A. and also replace the centering ball, check your roto-flex and because of your high mileage, replace all 4 u-joints.
In the case of u-joints, screw the budget, if your drive line fails while you wait around, you will be buying a new tranny also.
