I did the same thing the first time too. My plug was upside down. Try counting them the other way. Mine wasn't marked with numbers for each slot.

BIG Thanks!
This one thread on ABS blik codes via paper clip probably saved me BIG $$$$. No service station around here will pass a vehicle with and ABS light on. Turned out to be a 2-13... rear left sensor air gap... taped it back in a little... cleared the code... 200 miles later all is good! BIG THANKS to the author and everyone on this forum!

1) When the codes say example Left side, that means as if you're sitting in the vehicle facing forward, it's your left? (which would be the drivers side on an American vehilce?)
2) To pull the sensor out on the front wheels, can you wiggle them out or do you have to remove the two large bolts next to the sensors?
I keep getting a 2-14 blink code, I tap the drivers side sensor (left side as sitting in vehicle) but the code keeps coming back with the ABS light. I get the slippage once in a while. Maybe it's time to pull the fuse? Any feedback appreciated.

Are you tapping it in until it bottoms? If it keeps sliding out then you'll need a new rubber bushing and metal retainer for the ABS sensor. Go here - RovahFarm for all your new Land Rover Parts and Accessories
