Question Transfer Case Cover plate - Seal/Gasket or RTV?

Just a quick question regarding the cover plate for the Transfer Case as mine has oil drops all over all of those bolts.

Would it be better to purchase the gasket from Rovers North or use RTV as in the write up performed by grussel in the tech section?

Just had all of my fluids changed and I see fresh fluid in the drive way

You can seal it with the right stuff, comes in cheezwiz can, don't expect to get it off again

Mine was leaking up top run down and drip off the cover bolts

Are you sure the fluids aren't leaking down from up above?

When I was underneath I noticed same thing. Dripping from bolts and assumed same thing, needs gasket. Glad I saw this, will clean up first and look again. I noticed same thing oil pan, looks like gasket. I steam cleaned engine so I could find leaks, def coming from bottom end.

Oil pan on engine is glued, I ended up replacing every o ring and gasket I could on drive train and still have leaks just not as bad
