Yeah. Done.

The OP has both my condolences and my thanks for posting details here. The original "mistake" is truly shocking but could be forgiven with a prompt and effective fix. None was forthcoming, apparently. As I said before, there just aren't that many people on the planet who can and would put that kind of money into a Disco engine, and most of them in the US can be found here and on two other forums. This thread already shows up in Google.

What a waste of good will.

And Lucky8, which was already at the top of my list, gains even more esteem in measure to Cannibal's fall.

Whoa. Dude. That sucks. **** does happen but communication and resolving are in order. Just spoke with Erik the other day and seemed like a top notch guy, had an issue with a modified tactical bumper and he went above and beyond to make it right. Sounds like the car is in good hands.

I got bad news for you. I have see a ton of really broken oil pumps and 0 out of all of them have made oil pressure readings that low. That's a MAJOR bearing clearance problem/cam bearing fell out or cracked journal or something major. if you want me to tear it down, i'm in Trenton.

I know they went out of business but I'm loving my GPR right about now! Had an issue with an RMS leak which got covered under the warranty (labor...not just the $7 seal). I might have been the last one to have a successful claim with them though. No other issues 7K miles later.

GPR was apparently the way to go... Here is another Cannibal V8

Different Cannibal Motor but more pics of their quality work. This one knocked from day one and had oil pressure issues. Cannibal did not stand behind their product in any way. The knocking was the pistons smacking off the top hat liners. Wrist pins were bound up and the final insult to injury on this 5.0 Performance build? Standard 4.6 parts all the way through.... No grind to the crank and stock rods, pistons appear to be aftermarket stock replacement. Still digging on that.
