Default Fox Shocks

I am not too happy with the performance of my TF +2" 'ers. I just pulled them off my wrecked '01 (probably have about 9k miles on them) and mounted them on my '04. They didn't seem to have any rebound to them at all.

I always hear good things about FOX and decided I would give them a shot. So, which ones should I be looking at?

I am currently sitting on TF 3" HD springs (the truck is not loaded down w/ gear, armour, etc). I prefer not to have my springs pop out when flexing. So, I guess I am seeking something similar in length to TF +2" 'ers. Maybe, a little longer.

I found these: FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP for trucks w/ (1.5 - 2.5") lift.
Land Rover Discovery 2 2004-1998 Rear Shock - 2.0 Performance Series IFP Smooth Body Shock | FOX

Whats the deal w/ those fancy remote reservoir jobs?

It's either Fox or OME. I'm interested to hear which brand people prefer and why. Too bad Bilstien doesn't make a +2" shock for the D2.

Lucky 8 sells them new and will be able to tell you exactly what you need. RTE also makes spring retainers that aren't too awful expensive so you can get as long of shocks ad you like without losing your springs.

Wanna sell the Terrafirma shocks cheap?

I'll give Lucky8 a shout tomorrow. If I pull the trigger on the Fox's (which at this point is a certainty) I wil ship you my Terrafirma's for the cost of shipping.

On a side note, I bought them from AB, I believe they may still be under warranty. I already had to send a front one back - it was leaking pretty bad. No hassle return / exchange.

That's awesome, I really really appreciate that. You won't regret getting the Fox's. They're pretty much the best on the market. I've spent hours drooling over their shocks and their coilovers.

I still love my Fox shocks, they have performed flawlessly. I did pay quite a bit to get them, but they've been worth it. These are the ones I have

Fox Racing Shox - Fox 2.0 Factory Series Smooth Body Remote Reservoir Shock CD Adj | 4WheelParts.com

However, we do have a solid deal on the last 2 sets of 3" Fox shocks. This kit comes with the conversion pieces to make them work in a D2
