Default Question about future lift and adding future mods

Ok after my unhappy result with my 2 inch spacers i am eagerly looking to do it right by getting a full OME set. My question is that there is a 85% chance I will buy a Rover racks roof rack, metal rear bumper, and sliders in the near or far future... Once i bash my stock front plastic bumber I'll replace it with a metal one. (so far I have no need for a front one and the only reason i want a rear one is because a palm tree rear ended me...or was it the other way around??)

Other than then these mods and a set of tools, i won't be carrying any more gear while off roading.

Im worried a heavy duty set won't let me articulate enough without adding weight and im worried a medium set would make it feel like driving a boat.

I don't drive more than 40mph anywhere and my daily commute is 14 miles.

So what set-up you all recommend?

The weight rating on your coils really doesn't have anything to do with your articulation.
You need to stay towards the HD side, 779 front coils and 762 rears so when you have you truck /roof rack loaded you won't sway on or off road.

You need to move to a bigger island.

While we are on this topic, i really didnt want to start a thread as this always comes up.

I'm ready for my suspension lift (got my USA Stimulus check this year!) Full OME HD with damper. ANYWAY. i like the 235/85/16 tire and AB says 2" lift required, but with the OME HD it says not a full 2".. Soo... can I still get this set up

These are the exact springs I have. Here is a pic when I first installed them.

Do you have a D1 or D2?
You can easily fit a 235 along with an OME lift, just need to decide what coils to use for your use.

The kit i'm getting from the local place is the same on the website AB. http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/9393HD.cfm with http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/9387.cfm if this doesn't answer what you needed, then i'm a horrible rookie. The size tire i like is http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/9638A.cfm

My update on the 2 inch spacers was discussed here....

Bottom line is I don't like them too much and my rear shocks are over extended when sitting on a flat surface.
