Default 2inch spacers??????

I have a chance at getting 2 inch coil spacers for "almost nothing" and wanted to know what you guys think of them.

My suspension is still in good shape so i don't mind installing the spacers to gain some ground clearance until i buy a full 2inch suspension kit...

Not sure your stock shocks will allow the length, and then you have raised the center of gravity on a truck with worn out suspension.

My vote is a no. You won't like it.

I would say get them. Hang on to them till you can afford a better suspension setup, whether it's at stock height so you get a small lift, or if you get an OME 2" or something and get like 4" of lift, which will require a little more work.

the issue isnt the cost... its that your stock springs and shocks arent really up to the extra lift from the spacers... i have heard from a few people that spacers or tired stock springs can cause your truck to be more unstable than it should be... but if you really wanna do it it is at least completely reversible, so if you put them on and it handles horrible or it feels unsafe you can just take them back off...

I forgot to mention it will only be temporary... it would only be for about another 10-15k miles then i would get a full suspension kit.

and i could always "test" them ... it would only cost me time..

Tell me how they work out? I was going to get them but I figured my 96 would be too sloppy with the 160k springs.
