Smile Relevent selective ads???

We have a fair amount of ads on this forum. Sometimes I see ads for Dodge and other irrelevant products which have nothing to do with Land Rovers. Could we modify or change to which ads appear on this forum? I would recommend advertising rover relevant material: stores and websites that sell rover parts new and used. Maybe afew land rover dealers. Maybe products that work well in land rovers etc. This would make the forum more at home for all of us landy owners, especially the newbies who are looking for resources. Maybe we could also add a new section to the site which has direct links to private rover related sales (Craigslist, eBay etc). This would be a very efficient user friendly system if we incorporated these ideas. Just something to think about.

This would require constant updating but we can do that!

The company that over sees this forum sells ads to who ever will pay for them, thus keeping us afloat since keeping a sit running is expensive.
I agree with what you are saying, only Rover related ads would be nice but this is the way it is on all the sites.
