Questions on Series Land Rovers

&lt\\;P&gt\\;Hey guys, Im new here and want to buy a series land rover from the 70s era as my first car. I am currently 16, and have just started driving. I live in San Diego, and believe me, its really hard to find a series land rover in a good condition. The only series land rover I have found online is around 200 miles away from me!&lt\\;BR&gt\\;&lt\\;/P&gt\\; &lt\\;P&gt\\;Does anyone know where I can find a series land rover around San Diego that is for sale? &lt\\;/P&gt\\;

Not sure that I'd buy a Series for a first car. Might want something a little more reliable.

If they weren't so expensive these days, they'd be a great first car. But given what they go for, if you really want a Rover I'd suggest a D1. You can get them in good shape for less than what a Series Rover costs in good shape.
