Default WTB-Disco Series 1 Passenger Seat Belt

Hi Everyone,

I need the receiver end (bolted to the seat) of the passenger seat belt, the release button is jammed down. Does anyone have one?

Thanks!

Support your local salvage yard.... comes out easily, mine used a large TORX bolt.

I'll assume that yours is a Disco from '97 or later with your LSE tag. I have plenty. Support you Land Rover used parts suppliers. We own, drive and wheel them. I'll PM you the details.

Don't try to PM me as I've disabled the feature. Please email me directly or call.

Good comeback Grant! If I may add: We Rover loving rejects are here for a reason - if you want to support your local salvage yard (where most don't even let you go in and look around anymore!) BUY A JEEP!

Gentlemen, I stand admonished and corrected. In future posts I will always try to add a refernce to dismantlers as an option. But there are large yards in my area of the country that allow u-pull-it, and do quite a business. For a new comer to a particular high miles older vehicle these places are a source for all sorts of things, plus low priced tuition on where something fits. The largest yards even inventory on line, and will text message you when a vehicle you have listed interest in comes on the lot.

Not everyone on the forum operates by open check book maintenance. Some still have a huge available balance on their plastic. And some are avid DIY and misers, who enjoy keeping the old truck alive with left overs picked from the dead ones, with occasional "cross breeding" thrown in (fan clutch and the like) from other breeds of vehicles. Discos can smell cash, and have a way of deflating wallets. Of course, that is why a lot of previous owners dump them.

I must say that there are a high number of Jeeps in the yards, indicating that they can be subject to failures from lack of service as well. Maybe 3 -4 Rovers and five times as many Jeeps. That in-line six has been around a while, they have made over 5 million of them. But there are also plenty of Mercedes (not so many diesels), and everything else domestic and Asian.
