Default Parking sensors stopped working

hi folks, i have a 2004 RR vogue, the parking sensors front and rear were working fine but suddenly, the front sensors have stopped working but the rear system is still ok. the light comes on within the switch and a chime is heard when i switch it on which according to the handbook is confirmation that all is well. there is no system failure warning from the computer either, so can anyone shed any light as to what the problem may be?

To check lay under the RR corner of the rear bumper,
check the connector above the RR corner of the bumper its twisted onto the fitting at a 45 degree angle then make sure its fully connected.
Seems if its not fully connected the rears may work but not the fronts
