Default Range Rover HSE Questions..

A few months ago i sold my Disco 1 i miss her... she wasn't pretty had some rust but i hit the key and it started, and could get me through winter nice and comfy. I'm thinking of picking up a 2000-2002 Range Rover HSE i've found a few 100+ miles ones, anybody have experiences on what i should look for? I know alot of people trade the air suspension for coil springs.

I guess long story short should i go for it or try and find another disco?
I know some people have had bad LR/RR experiences and that has jaded them i had a good one so maybe i'm jaded...

When I got my '01 HSE at first I was relieved it was on coils, but now that I've learned more about them I wish it it still had EAS. I don't know if I want it bad enough to go through the trouble of converting it back, but if I was buying again I'd find one that still had it

Disco 1 has a lot fewer parts (an a whole lot less electronics) to accomplish the goal of getting you from point A to point B. But any D1 will be an older truck, will need many small and a few large things done to it, unless you happen upon a very low miles one. If you use craigslist, try www.statewidelist.com, which compiles cl for any single state, your search values, and outputs grouped by city. If you live near the border, can search adjacent state as well. Example - I might go to Charleston or Jacksonville, but no way I am driving to Tampa to look at a truck.
