Default I bet you I paid less for my rover

Next month i'm picking up my fifth rover. My first one was a 96 d1 i bought with 40k miles on it 10 years ago for $6500... sold it.

my 99 d2 i currently own i bought for $3000 in '08 with 101k mi

i have since bought another d2 for $1100

a d1 for $650

and now the least expensive Disco I have ever purchased.

a '01 D2 for (drum roll)............................. $0

yes. i was given a disco. at first she wanted $500. Now she asked me just to take it away. It won't start. has 104k miles on it. she was told it was the ecu but i highly doubt it. needless to say. free truck!

my next disco i need someone to pay me to take it.

Correct. Mechanic told her bad Ecu.... I highly doubt it. Should I offer less?

If it is ECU, snag ECU, BDU, and IACV from donor vehicle. Hopefully just crank position sensor.

I see about $200 in the side steps alone.

Amazing "deal".
