Wink My Series 1 found me again

I sold my series 1 awhile ago and have missed her ever since. It was a project vehicle but since I bought the 67 I didn't have the time to work on it. Anyways, a tow company called me a couple of months ago and said they found my rover abandoned on the side of the interstate and that it was still under my name. They said they would take $500 for it but I am still in the same situation as I was before, putting all of my extra time into the 109. I thought it was kinda funny so I thought I would share. If anybody on here wants it let me know. It is at a dealership in east tn and I can still get the title. I thought about buying it again and parting it out but its more than I care to deal with. Probably has a blown engine and I have no keys but for a 10% finders fee its yours lol.

Damn, how could someone in their right mind abandon a Series I beside the road. What year is it? I've wanted a '55 for many years.

550 Sounds like a great deal for a series I. Good thing its halfway across the country, my wife would kill me if i had another project in the driveway..

Same here, I would buy it in a heart beat if it was within 200 miles of me.

You better buy it back and just sit on it, even in rough shape its worth $3000.

Sorry I forgot to mention that it is the disco series 1! If I found a real series 1 I sure as hell wouldn't offer it up to anyone else. Sorry for the ambiguity.

lol.. yeah, that was a necessary bit of information you left off there.. Still, 550 for a 97 disco isnt bad, lots of spare parts and sell the rest off

Ah. Well, as said, even $550 isn't bad. And there are number of things I could use off of it. Unfortunately I don't have a place to put it while I strip it.
Not to mention the Land Rover would be cheap, but the divorce would probably be expensive.

The price is def right for the right person. If I owned my home I would prob get it and part it out but I rent so I don't want to have to worry about moving it around. Does anybody know how much the aluminum weighs or is worth?
Antichrist- I wonder how many land rovers are brought up in divorce court? I would imagine there are a few.
