I doubt the tow company would take $500 for it if it's worth $800 in scrap.

Up here its worth that much. Maybe they don't realize its aluminum content.

I have a feeling they don't really know that much about rovers. Its been sitting in his lot now for a year and a half so he is prob just ready to give the thing away if he hasn't already.
