Description:

Hi guys-

I’ve been off the scene for a while and crossed over to dark side (toyota) but was still hanging on to my P38 in hopes of restoring it.

it has a ton of potential for the right person-
no rust at all, engine is almost bone dry with a top end refresh done under 20k miles ago. Body straight etc

With that being said, it needs some of the more common items addressed- fuse box, brake accumulator, icv, etc.

I am pretty picky, so can make a more extensive list for anybody who is interested

The other major issue being that it has clearcoat peel on the driver side and rear tailgate. One small ding about the size of a golf ball by tailgate, and a tiny one on passenger door.

ideally, someone who is interested would repaint those in the original color because it’s so uncommon… but I guess it would be a good candidate for vinyl wrap or whatever you wanted to do.

I’ve had this for about five years now and it drove great, but needed brake accumulator.
between sitting and randomly starting and moving around, the other items became necessary

I really have no idea how to price this, so feel free to chime in

these are pretty rare at around 250 made in total with half being yellow and half red. Hopefully someone out there will appreciate it and be able to give it the life it deserves.

PS-
wheels are plastidipped, so will return to normal easily

Hey guys! I've been away from the forum due to some family health issues and just remembered this thread as I have been getting nagged by the property owners to clear out the Rover. I stopped by earlier and feel that given the extensive odds and ends needed as well as clearcoat peel, this would either do best as an amazing parts car or a trail rig. With that being said, I'm dropping the price to 1500. Just the mondials and solid engine are worth it, but I need to get it out and don't have the time or energy to split

I wish I didn’t live a whole continent away from you. That’s definitely worth the money as a really good parts car.
