Time for a discount. It’s a 2024.
This is 2025.
Oh look it has the same engine as my 2010 Range Rover Sport I had in... 2010.
They’ve covered the metal dash end caps and magnesium dash inner structure DEFENDER (?) with matching leather. That’s interesting.
I like the trim around the gear shifter and Toyota Previa pregnant part below it covered in leather.
They also seem to have forgotten the winch, but put the fairlead in.
Painted black wide US spec (with light) wheel arch flares. Don’t think I’ve seen that.
In all seriousness, I don’t love this pavement proboscis, but I am very curious about the front license plate mount for the bulbar (that I have) because when I got my bulbar, no one at JLR could seem to source those little bracket parts for me. Looking closely, and I’m really splitting hairs here, I am pretty sure that is the EU plate mount on there, not a US plate mount. Not a huge deal, but amusing on a 198K car sold in the US. Go Overfinch.

Eh, too much leather for me. Don't get me wrong, I usually prefer wood & leather everywhere, but this seems a little excessive and out of character for a Defender. Also, it needs the wood trim. Sucks that all the wood trim selections were removed from the options list for the 25MY. What are those wheels? Looks like something I saw as a kid watching Pimp My Ride on MTV. That's not enough sidewall. Hitting a pothole too fast and you'll probably blow a tire. Even a Range Rover on 23" wheels still have a decent amount of sidewall. Its not a 911, its a Defender.
And the fact that I could buy two of my Defenders and a CPO Boxster for the price of this is ridiculous.

Yes, when I think I've done something insane that will not hold a ton of value and I could have ordered two Defenders or a cheap L460 AND a cheap L663 for not a lot more... then that rolling pile shows up. I can't imagine the reality which will set in when the buyer gets tired of it after a couple of years. Of course, they likely won't care and it will be a rounding error.

I wonder if they ever replaced the cheap plastic coolant crossover lines that dry out and crumble with metal ones? The bigger issue for me was the leaking passenger side valve cover gasket that slowly drips oil into the alternator. Until one day a giant red battery symbol pops up in the center display followed by all the other warning lights and symbols. (aka "Christmas Tree of Death") Happened to me twice.
