Default 10” vs 11.4”?

I still have time to order the larger. Is it really worth it in regards to design?

Doesn’t look as good, but I’ve read it is sharper and perhaps more responsive? 6 of one, half a dozen of another in my opinion.

11.4 is one of the best displays I’ve seen in a vehicle. I run mine in dark mode all the time and use carplay a lot. The display is sized perfectly, operates quickly, and is crisp. Just my opinion.

Yes, definitely worth it ($140 is a tank or two of gas these days...). I have the 11.4" and the usability is great.

I wonder what percentage of the "doesn't look good" crowd is just sour grapes?

The screen being small was something that stood out to be me originally. When my order got switched to a my22 I didn't hesitate to go with the larger screen.

The smaller screen does "fit " the lines of the dash, so I can see how people would feel that way. Is the 1.4 inch size increase worth the cost to good design? Thats the question.

At just $140 the larger screen would ordinarily be a “must-tick” option, it’s really nice and it ought to be standard.

The problem is you can’t get them, so you’re really making the choice between the current standard screen or significant delivery delays if you want to hold out for the bigger one.

The standard size screen is fine. I’d have rather have had the bigger one, but that alone wouldn’t be worth an even longer delivery delay.

I have the 11.4 as well, it's a no brainer upgrade. I see what people are saying about the design, but in person with it turned on it honestly makes the old one look dated and imho only enhances the design. Also note that the 11.4 has much smaller bezels and comes across as being super thin due to how they did the edges.

I agree, while one is unavailable and the other is available it seems like an apples to oranges comparison.
