Bought my wife black wheels because well, wife gets what she wants.. I found a set of brand new 19” take offs and although it has stock 20’s I figured since it is a standard wheel on the Defender that I’d have no issues. Mounting my first wheel up front, and finding this little block that is bolted on to the knuckle just above the tierod is hard up against the inside barrel of the wheel? I’ve read about issues with 18” wheels and the rear calipers, but what gives here with the 19’s?

It's a mud scraper for the larger rims. You should be able to remove it.
