Default (New Pics!) 1st Edition Ordered - Anyone else in for one?

Hello All!
I haven't been on much so just checking in. My dealer just received my deposit check and I have got my order placed! Woah I'm excited! Anyone else have one coming? Nice to be back!

What are you guys adding to yours? I couldn't seem to find the deployable ladder option and need to get that added soon.

-Adam

*Oh one more thing I'd like to add. I own a tire/wheel shop so once I get it I'll be swapping on some decent mildly over-sized tires. I've checked every picture and I believe the OEM size will be a 255/60-20 (a newer size with limited options) but not positive, do any of you know? I think I'll at least be able to throw on some 275/60 A/Ts or something close! Lemme know if any of you see one in person and can say what kind of clearance there is. I'm sure I'll do 2 or 3 test fits right after getting her home.
Thanks Again!

Congrats!!! Looks like a sweet setup, just wish the options were not so pricey on these.

No idea what tires they come with. The D5 comes with 255/55/20, but I believe the Defender has slightly taller tires. A lot of people change to 275/55/20 on the D5 due to all the choices available in that size, but it may not give you much more diameter than the stock size on the Defender.

What is the delivery date?

Thanks! No concrete date yet but so far it looks like late March early April, yeah I had some Johnson Rods on my D5 with the 275/55-20 Falken AT3s and a set of Toyo AT2s. I'm looking forward to it though! Such a long wait ahead though...

Curious, you own a tire shop but you are paying LR $350 for off road tires you plan to replace?

My brother asked the same thing! Simple though used or take off sets in 20" hwy are a dime a dozen and not worth much, I doubt it's a durtrac or anything too aggressive but they will be much easier to sell that a set of highway AS tires.

They went with duratrac on the 2020 Trek D5 so there is hope.

ArmyRover - Here's to hoping! I like the DuraTrac and would love for them to be on there! I've went over a ton of pictures and gave a feeling it will be the 255/60 GoodYear Adventure A/T. I hope they release some more specs soon. I'll get you guys a picture of my D5 tomorrow. It has Falken AT3w on it.

Hi Adam:

Ordered my First Addition yesterday, Pangea Green/Acorn:

The First Addition pretty much comes with everything. I would have liked a few wheel options, like the 20" X model dark grey versions. I added a few extras, rear bumper scuff plate, roof cross bars, basic interior protection pack, 3rd row seats, and off-road tires.

My understanding is Land Rover had Goodyear manufacture a one-off all terrain tire to their specifications specifically for the new Defender, Wrangler Kevlar AT. Size is is as you stated 255/60/R20. My understanding also is a 32" tire is the max without air suspension mods.

Use the car for a while and see how it does for your purposes before trying alternate tires. It appears most capable off the self.
