Default 2020 Defender p400 SE height with antenna

Hi, new to the forum. Couldn’t find the answer so I’m looking for some help. Does anyone know if the 77.4” height dimension on LR’s website includes the fin antenna for this specific model with 20” wheels? I’m assuming 77.4” is with 19” wheels and no antenna. Need to know if it can fit in a garage without using the air suspension each time. I’m afraid one day I’ll forget and be without a rear camera and antenna. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The overall height of the Defender 110 doesn't change regardless of size wheels installed (you get chunkier tires with smaller rims, and lower profiles with larger ones, but the overall factory diameter remains 32" regardless of whether you order 18 or 22" rims), and as far as I know all models come with the shark fin antenna as they are all equipped with satnav regardless of trim. So, if the manual says height is 77.4" in normal height that's got to be accurate, just remember that this vehicle comes with adjustable "dynamic" air suspensions, so leave an extra inch or so of "safety" clearance just in case. Hard to tape measure exactly back there since the spare tire gets in the way, but 77.4" sounds about right.

So my understanding is the antenna height is 2.75” added to 77.4” in body height equals 80.15” in clearance needed. Can anyone confirm?

No, my car with the antenna measures 77.4" in height (normal height), give or take a fraction of an inch.

I think the dimensions include the fin. The parking garage at my office accommodates 6’9” or 81” (measured - not reading some arbitrary sign). I’m I have the Johnson 1.5” lift and 33” tires. Add 1.5” to 77.4 and then 0.5” for tires. Roughly 79.5. The shark fin still has about 2” to go before hitting some of the lower hanging pipes in the garage.

I’m assuming that’s in normal height settings? Have not taken delivery of mine yet, but I too will have some garage height concerns. Should be fine w a lift to clear in normal height, but off-road height setting might be too much ( as it seems would be the same case for your office garage)

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows the height once cross bars (attached to the roof rails) and/or expedition roof rack is attached? It looks only slightly higher than the fin, but not sure exactly. Cheers

there is a YouTube video of someone showing the different heights on the PiviPro touch screen which shows the following:

access height 6’3”
regular height 6’5”
off-road height 6’8”

(coil suspension is about 0.2” higher than the regular height)

Add the numbers above to the official dimensions of the rack or cross bars or etc and you should have the total height.
