Default 2021 Defender 110 time for new tires. opinions?

I ordered my 2021 with the Goodyear Wrangler “adventurer” off road tires and didn’t do the dealer upgrade of the Duratracs. No regrets, but at almost 40k miles it’s time for new sneakers. I thing I want to upgrade to the Duratracs. Opinions? i dont do much off tossing and found the “adventurers” adequate. What do you guys think????

I was going to say, you might find someone who has upgraded their wheels and can sell you new "take off" tyres at a good price.

l bought 5 new steelies with tyres for U.K.Ł600

But the above offer is even better, there's nobody so generous over here sadly

size would be helpful? i upgraded my stock 20" goodyear wrangler adventures to BFG KO2 275/55/r20 and couldn't be happier. it's way better off road and absolutely fine on road. in my experience it's a better tire than the duratrac, and i've trusted them for years on many different trucks. but sure you'll get a lot of opinions. good luck.

In the past, I had Duratracs, Nitto Ridge Grapplers, and KO2s on a few different vehicles. I put Falken Wildpeaks AT3s on my defender and they are the best AT tire I have ever had on a car. The ride quality is always going to be rougher, but it is as close to a street tire as I have had and they are inaudible till about 60mph. They also come in an XL rating, which is fine for light offroading and trail riding while maintaining a comfortable on-road ride.

I have a new 110 on order that will be coming with the Goodyear Wrangler AT's. When I take delivery, I will drive immediately to my dealer and trade them for BFG A/T KO2's. The dealer can sell the Wranglers as "new take-offs."

I have the BFG A/T KO2 on a Jeep and really can't say enough good things about it. They're civilized and easy to live with when you need them to be, like 99% of the time, but then brilliant off-road the other 1% of the time. And they look cool too.

Another tire I really like as well is the Cooper AT3. I had two sets on my 4Runner and loved them for the same reasons.

Good luck,

Myron
