Lightly loaded for a short trip. Took it to a CAT scale. Tongue weight is from the AS spec. I haven't weighed that myself yet, but based on the change in the Defender weight (I weighed the Defender separately), it seems about right.

I would remove the sway control hitch as Land Rover said it is not recommended that you use it. And the defender has anti-sway built-in. This is my setup.









These are some pictures of how I evolved my roof rack set up. The last picture at the bottom is how it is currently.

Looks like you have an attached ladder. Is that the LR option?

Has anyone found a ball mount that is within the recommended length specification? The closest I've found online is ~8.25 inches

What are people using for a trailer brake control? I used to have a Tekonsha inertia type brake control, is there something better?
