2021 P300 precat? smoking
Hi All, A short drive today running errands in my p300. Upon returning to my home, parking on the street, I smelled a smoke smell from my dash vents. Shut the Defender off and popped the hood to find this: light stream of smoke coming from the area to the side or underneath the pre-cat (at least I think that what the metal cylinder on the right side of the engine is) on the right side of the engine. Smoked like this, in a little tiny stream for about about 5-10 minutes and disappeared (as I assume the engine cooled).

New engine burning off still (I have just over 1000 miles)? Something got it there (I can't see anything). Something splashed up onto the exhaust (can't imagine in that location).
Any thoughts? Not excited about starting the car up again, at least until I have my automotive fire extinguisher at the ready...

Update: short story - all seems fine and good
longer story - after the initial incident I removed the plastic engine cover and allowed the truck to cool off. (Then got busy for a couple days). Three days later with a flashlight and a fire extinguisher at the ready I started the vehicle, letting it idle for 10 minutes watching the area of the pre-cat. There was a slight amount of smoke (much less than the video) that stopped after 5-6 minutes. With no smoke and another 5 minutes of idling, I drove the car for a short errand, getting the vehicle to operating temp, starts/stops and healthy brake usage.
A quick once over of the engine after this showed no signs of additional smoke and the truck performed fine.
All’s well that ends well. It appears I must have picked up some road grime or had an area or two still needing some initial burn off, as there are no signs of anything out of sort.
I’ve now driven the truck 300 miles since with no incident.
At least here’s hoping...

Apparently there's a recall on exhaust nuts not being fully tightened -

announcement Says it just impacts the 3.0L 6 cyl Diesels? Maybe so, but I will be checking th VIN list against my P300, just for fun.
