Just canceled my 2021 order and switched to 2022. Dealer put me to the front of the list since my deposit was submitted in December. Excited to get the bigger screen

Last Date to Change 4/7
Built 5/7
At Retailer 7/2

Congrats. Will be interesting to see where the timeline is for everyone else who had my21 orders in that got pushed to 2022.

What changed from your my21 to m22 build and what changed with the price difference? Did your dealer do anything to offset the price increase?

I upgraded from X-Dynamic SE to HSE to get the full leather seats. I also added the new blackout option. Changes increased my build from 73 to 78. Ouch

I have the same delivery date of 7/2, but I can't get the bigger screen --> two month delay. per the dealer. So if I go with the bigger screen it won't be until September.

Thats odd, I have a delivery date of 8/6 with the bigger screen, but I guess Canada is a different animal.

Hey Todd - I'll let you know if the bigger screen delays my build. I'll wait until Sept if that is the case. I usually keep a car for 5 years so willing to wait a few months for my ideal build.

I updated my order for the MY2022 model yesterday. I think I'm part of the initial MY2022 dealer allocation, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for June delivery. I went with the P300 -- I really liked how smooth it was versus the P400. Also it seems like P300 MPG estimates exceed expectations, while P400 fall short. I remember playing the "range anxiety" game with my 2003 Discovery (12/16 MPG), which meant I had a range somewhere between 240-300 miles. I'd prefer not to repeat this game on my new 'Rover

My hat is off to the folks who waited a full year for the initial Defender builds -- waiting just 3 months for mine seems like a lifetime!

Oh... I also opted for the larger screen.

MY21 X-Dynamic SE originally ordered 1/25. Order went in yesterday for MY22 similar build (+$1800). Delivery with 10" screen: 7/16. Delivery with 11.4": 8/20. What's another month?
