My 2022 Defender 90X has been delivered to my dealer…. after the dealer installs a couple of items … and then transports my Defender from NY down to me in Florida, I will finally be behind the wheel of my latest toy…

Placed a deposit with the dealer July 2021…. Order accepted by LR Sept 2021…. Built Nov 2021…. Arrived in port of Baltimore Dec 2021… Arrived at NY Dealership Jan 2022…. Delivered to me in Florida ~ Mid Jan 2022 ?
Patience is not one of my very few virtues but I think Im getting close to being behind the wheel.

I quite like the wider matte fender flares on the Carpathian D90 X model w the painted black lowers. (I have an Eiger Grey 110 X model and am debating whether the unpainted wider flares would look right with the gloss black underneath. You just made my decision - they look great)

Good wheel choice and color brw. Not seeing that on lots of X's yet.

And yes, what is that rusty minivan

 

Congrats! I ordered my 90X in August, and it's arriving at the dealer tomorrow. So, I should be picking mine up this week after a few accessory installs as well.

 

Your Defender is chilling in an old storage area of the defunct used car building. Damn Old Volvo photos on the wall next to tires and a busted *** minivan. Better make sure you check everything down to the carpet fuzz when you take possession. Bravo on getting a 90.

 

Well done on waiting this long. I feel the last few weeks will be the hardest now that your sweet looking 90 is so close. Like having to go to the bathroom on a long trip and thinking you are doing fine then your bowels wake up and realize you are a few blocks from your house….😬. Your timeline similar to mine (ordered in July). Vessel just arriving at the Baltimore port in a couple of hours. My bowels and I then need to wait for my 110 XD HSE

to get to dealer in MN!!

Congrats.. for the rest of us who have a long wait.. you're making us very anxious. The Carpathian gray is amazing, really glad I went for that color. However I did forego getting the wheel arch protection since it doesn't match the gloss black, just my taste though. Maybe I'll acquire it later on and just have it painted.
