My X order has been patiently sitting on my LR dealerships lot since early June waiting for a fix. Crickets from LR. No telling when this will be remedied.

 

At least you can visit yours and enjoy a glass of wine while imagining future adventures with her. My 90X still held at Port in GA since recall announced. My Dealer hearing no word on delivery date. BTW I ordered extended black package and I'm wondering if the lower portion on the side is flat black or gloss. If it's gloss I want to paint the fender well extensions I purchased from parts department to match. Anybody know?

 

Is this stop sale for every single Defender in port and on the lot? I’m seeing Defenders being sold by dealers on a weekly basis. I was informed my Defender is still at port, delivery was supposed to be last Thursday, but was only told that PDI is behind schedule getting accessories done and it would be delivered this week or next.

 

Only for X models with the smoked tail lights.
I don't understand why this is the case since the same issue is happening on the Non X models.
My 22 X-dynamic with the red tail lights shows this same issue and is currently sitting at the dealership waiting for the new parts.
Chances are i'll be in a loaner for over a month

Finally some news, My 90X yes smoked tail lights (4/29 build date) will be delivered 10/15/21. My sales person said she thinks JLR has a cushion built into that date.

It seems like most people were given an October date. My assumption (hope) is that is just a place holder and X/V8 cars will be fixed sooner than that.

 

They are telling everyone 10/15 delivery. They need a redesign of the taillight led circuit, produce the fix and send new taillights. There is talk that the standard lights have the same problem. I gave up on my X order and my V8 sitting at port. I have called LR USA multiple times with no answers whatsoever. It could be a long wait…
