Agreed

at the same time I’m sure some people don’t have the exact trim or options they would’ve ordered had they had the choice. And didn’t want to wait in line to order.

Yes, it is, but a lot of folks (myself included!) got cold feet while waiting on their XS. I'll probably stick with the body colored lower panels, but was curious given all the changes if this was in scope!

I am not changing the lower body cladding on the sides. I actually prefer that look instead of the black being there. I debated removing the squares or putting something on them (like a sticker) but so far not sure on that.

The XS bundled alot of options that knocked down the price $3k or $4k for me from my HSE order. Honestly I liked Carpathian color better then silicon silver, but so far what I have seen with the black bumpers, roof, and hood look really good with the silicon silver color. I am hoping to get the defender back in the next day or two and then will see if I have time to take a pictures.

Here is what it looked like before the bumpers and wheels were painted.

Thanks! Yes they are the OEM defender cross bars. I shopped around and then got my local dealership to price match. Ended up being cheaper then buying Thule crossbars. The parts guys said they are made by Thule.
