Default 2022 LR Defender Window Panel

We have a 2022 Land Rover Defender 110. The rear window panel has popped off on the bottom.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any easy fix?

Thanks!

You should be able to push it back in. There are four holes that it "plugs" into.

Perfect as just in time for me - I was looking what option I need to choose to get the side panel in black instead of the car colour. Just removing it might be a good option

Just be aware that its not the whole window assembly. My driver-side rear passenger window assembly is coming off. It's the same area as your plate coming off. They have order the parts from the UK but they have to replace the whole back window due to the pins breaking. I did nothing to the panel but figured it broke due to bad pins.

We had ours come loose and fly off the car on the highway. Took it into the dealership and they replaced the missing panel.

I think Lucky8 (though a bit more expensive) is a much nicer and better option - you also get a LR badge too.
Anyways, just my 2 cents here ...

My 2020 Land Rover 110 DefenderX has this problem right now. In my case it is where the screws go in from inside the door. The screws tighten into a square plastic block that has separated from the plastic itself. It appears to be sonic-welded plastic and a poor design, both the top and bottom have popped off. I am going to try to glue the blocks back in place since it is going to be a month before they can even look at it.

Yeah, there are a lot of sonic/heat welded plastic that are VERY brittle. The back, upper, exterior trim (External D-pillars) are also notorious. I'm hoping someone in their engineering department (manufacturing?) re-looks at that.
