2023.5 digital dash dimming issue
#12
I also noticed this when it was foggy. I did not try it but I assumed it was because the head lights are on. I will try turning them off. I have them on Auto which I have always used even in my LR3. It was daylight but foggy so I think auto dim was confused.
I am also hoping this is solved soon and will try turning off headlights next time. Although I want them on when it is overcast. This needs to be changed so that you can over ride the auto dim.

I'm starting to wish that I got the analog dash since I never change the view anyway. Odd thing is that our 2021 never does this. Must be some "new and improved" feature for 2023. I think JLR does monitor dealer work orders and maybe this forum since so many 2021 issues were changed on our 2023. (A-pillar noise gone, new dash trim material doesn't squeak like a dog toy, rear wiper washer now inside the wiper blade, rear seat bottom latch position moved so it doesn't tear a hole in the headrest when folded flat, and probably more I have not found yet)

NHTSA complaints are designed for situations like this and they're very easy to fill out.
