Dash Dimming
Out of curiosity, everyone that’s being affected by this is it that everyone has the smaller screen or the larger screen? just wondering if it’s happening on the 10 inch screen only or if it’s on the 11.4. I know my screen is not dimming like my cluster but wanted to check. My main screen does go black sometimes too.

All, we noticed when we roll our tinted windows down that the cluster goes bright. My tint is not dark and is legal. The dealer is ordering a new cluster to replace. We also noticed it is either software or the cluster itself. when it is dim if you will shine a flashlight or the flashlight on your phone directly on the cluster you will see it brighten.

Dimming issues
I was pleased when my 2023.5 Defender was delivered with the digital dash but it dims way too often, normally in overcast weather. It seems to stay at max brightness most (but not all) of the time when it's sunny out. It changes from bright to dim constantly when overcast. It's a given in mine that if it's overcast, the panel can change constantly to the point that over a 1 minute period, it can change from bright/dim/bright. The brightness adjustment **** works, but will only raise it to the max brightness the dash is willing to go to at any given time.
Has anyone else experienced this? I don't want to waste my time bringing it to the dealer for them to tell me "this is normal".

mines the same had it in at Landrover and they recalibrated the rain sensor so I was told but its still the same I’ve also experienced the light symbols disappear even though the lights were on I’ve tried lights off lights on lights auto and it still does it.
if they eventually get to the bottom of it I’ll post what they did but I’m not holding my breath
